Fully Updated Travel Guide & Tips 2026 To Khem Beach Phu Quoc

Khem Beach, in the south of Phu Quoc, is an undiscovered jewel offering soft white sand, blue-green sea, and a tranquil atmosphere – very great for a natural escape to relax by the sea this summer!

Introduction To Khem Beach

Khem Beach 2

Khem Beach, also called Kem Beach, is one of the most beautiful hidden gems in the southern region of Phu Quoc Island. Situated about 25km from Duong Dong Town, Khem Beach’s crescent shape, fine white sand, and turquoise water lap gently on the shore. It is encircled by lush green hills and tropical trees, which surround visitors with the sense of seclusion and some isolated tranquility – a perfect retreat for anyone who happens to be seeking tranquility and nature, away from the more accessible beaches of the island.

In contrast to the other popular beaches, Khem Beach has retained much of its pristine charm. The sea is calm and clear throughout the year, which makes it a good beach for swimming, kayaking, or simply relaxing in the shade of the coconut palm trees. Along the coastline, you will likely come across some cozy stalls selling a variety of seafood from the ocean, such as fish, squid, and shrimp, so visitors can try the locally caught seafood while oceanfront. Khem Beach’s poetic landscape captures the true meaning of a tropical paradise in Phu Quoc with its scenic landscape and tranquility.

History Of Khem Beach

Khem Beach in Phu Quoc is famous not only for its spectacular, natural scenery, but also for its interesting stories of history. “Khem” is said to have come from local onlookers telling people that the beach had a beautiful, curved shape that looked like open arms hugging the sea. When peace was established, Khem Beach went back to peace and resumed its gentle beauty that we know today. Khem Beach has become an emblem of peace and serenity – a place for observing nature and thinking about the rich past of the island, and the persistence that has overcome hardships.
