Continue your walk through the peaceful grounds to see the iconic One Pillar Pagoda and the grand Presidential Palace.

Next, explore the Temple of Literature, a beautiful complex of ancient courtyards, gardens, and traditional architecture dedicated to Confucius. Dating back nearly a thousand years, it was once home to Vietnam’s first national university.

After lunch, your afternoon begins with a visit to Hoa Lo Prison, famously nicknamed the “Hanoi Hilton” by American POWs. This historical site provides a somber but powerful insight into Vietnam’s colonial and wartime history.

You can take a leisurely walk through Hanoi’s vibrant Old Quarter, where each of the 36 streets bears the name of the goods once sold there. Streets like Tin and Bamboo still keep that spirit alive. Then visit Ngoc Son Temple, located on a tiny island in Hoan Kiem Lake, and hear the legendary tale of the emperor’s magic sword and the sacred turtle.

After finishing your breakfast and checking out of the hotel, you’ll head out on a comfortable drive to Halong Bay, about 200 kilometers from Hanoi. Once you arrive at the port, step aboard your cruise, where the friendly crew will greet you with a cool welcome drink. A delicious lunch will be served as the boat sails through towering limestone formations and emerald waters.

In the afternoon, you can immerse yourself in optional activities like exploring a local fishing village or taking part in a Vietnamese cooking class, depending on the cruise’s itinerary. As the day winds down, return to the ship and relax on the sundeck or in your cabin. Later, enjoy a cozy dinner on board and fall asleep to the gentle sway of the bay beneath you.

You’ll wake up at sunrise and enjoy a peaceful breakfast on board as the horizon begins to glow. The cruise continues through some of Ha Long Bay’s most iconic landscapes, allowing you to admire its extraordinary limestone islets and tranquil beauty, an experience that defines this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

• Marble Mountains (Ngũ Hành Sơn): A 20-minute drive from the city center, this cluster of limestone hills features ancient pagodas, caves, and sweeping coastal views. You can take the stairs orthe elevator. A visit takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.
• My Khe Beach at Sunset: Between 4:30–6:00 PM, enjoy a peaceful walk along one of Vietnam’s most beautiful beaches. Relax with a coffee or simply take in the fresh sea breeze.
• Dragon Bridge & Love Lock Bridge: Located in the heart of the city, this iconic area is beautifully lit in the evening. While the dragon’s fire show happens only on weekends at 9:00 PM, the view and atmosphere remain charming at dusk.
• Son Tra Peninsula Drive (Optional): For those wanting a scenic escape, consider a drive to Linh Ung Pagoda and the towering Lady Buddha. The round-trip takes 1.5–2.5 hours. A private car is ideal.

In the morning, you take a ride on the modern cable car system, the longest in Southeast Asia. As you ascend, the stunning views of Da Nang unfurl below you, a lovely beginning to the day.

Your first stop is the iconic Golden Bridge. This breathtaking walkway, held up by enormous stone hands, provides a surreal backdrop for photos. Next, you wander through the enchanting Le Jardin D’Amour gardens and stop to visit the serene Linh Ung Pagoda.

Then the second cable car transports you to the lively French Village. There, you can bask in street performances, be amazed by creative statues, visit temples, and even take a thrilling ride down the Slide of Tube Car.

Lunch is included in your trip, after which the next quest starts. In the afternoon, you board the Lava Train and head to exciting new locations in the hills. On arrival, you enter Fantasy Park, where you can see different themed zones, enjoy thrilling rides, and play interactive games that are fun for everyone.

At about 03:00 PM, you head back to the cable car station to ride down the mountain. Your minivan collects you between 04:45 PM and 05:45 PM and brings you back to your hotel.

You’ll also browse local craft stores, pop into small galleries, and stop by the Museum of Folk Culture for a glimpse into daily life from generations past.

After breakfast, you’ll have some time to relax or enjoy a final stroll along the beach before heading to the airport. Our car and guide will arrive at your hotel at the scheduled time to transfer you to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. The hotel room remains at your disposal until 12:00 PM.

Once you land in Ho Chi Minh City, our local team will be there to welcome you. They will help with your luggage and take you directly to your hotel. After check-in (available from 02:00 PM), the rest of the afternoon is yours, perfect for resting or taking a walk to get your first glimpse of Saigon’s vibrant atmosphere.

For the evening, consider joining a Vespa food tour if you’re up for an adventure. As you ride through the buzzing streets, your guide will take you to hidden culinary gems where locals gather. Once breakfast is done, your day begins with a journey to My Tho, a quiet town on the banks of the Mekong River.
