Welcome to Hanoi! Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, our local driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Your room will be available from 2:00 PM onwards. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Begin your morning with a guided visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where you’ll learn about the revered leader who spearheaded Vietnam’s struggle for independence from French colonial rule. Continue your walk through the surrounding complex to see the historic Presidential Palace and the unique One Pillar Pagoda, set peacefully amid lotus ponds.
Next, explore the Temple of Literature, a nearly thousand-year-old sanctuary dedicated to Confucius. Once Vietnam’s first national university, this beautiful site features ancient courtyards, traditional architecture, and peaceful gardens that reflect a deep reverence for learning.
In the afternoon, pay a visit to Hoa Lo Prison, famously dubbed the “Hanoi Hilton” by American POWs. This sobering site offers insight into both colonial-era political imprisonment and the experiences of captured soldiers during the Vietnam War.
Afterward, take a leisurely stroll through Hanoi’s Old Quarter. You’ll walk down the city’s original 36 streets—including the vibrant Train Street—each named for the traditional trades once practiced there. Today, shops on Tin and Bamboo Streets still honor those legacies.
Continue your cultural journey with a visit to Ngoc Son Temple, located on a small island in Hoan Kiem Lake. Here, your guide will share the legendary tale of the emperor, a magical sword, and the mystical turtle that gave the lake its name.
During the day, your guide will be happy to recommend local coffee shops for a short break, depending on availability. Drinks are at your own expense.
Meals are not included. Enjoy your free time in the late afternoon before transferring to Hanoi Railway Station, where your guide will accompany you as you board the overnight train to Sapa.
You will arrive at Lao Cai Station at 05:55 AM. A driver will meet you for a scenic one-hour transfer to Sapa town. Upon arrival, you’ll head to your hotel to drop off your belongings (please note early check-in is not included). Then, enjoy breakfast at a local eatery to start your day.
After breakfast, you’ll visit Viettrekking for panoramic mountain views and a relaxing drink (at your own expense). Around 08:30 AM, a car and guide will take you to the Fansipan Cable Car Station. From here, begin your ascent to the Fansipan, “Roof of Indochina” on the world’s most advanced 3-wire cable car system. As the cabin glides over the stunning landscape, take in breathtaking views of misty valleys and towering peaks.
From the upper station, you’ll pass through Thanh Van Dac Lo Heaven Gate and visit Bich Van Thien Tu Pagoda, set at over 2,000 meters above sea level. Continue your spiritual journey along Arhat Road, where 18 bronze statues line the path to Kim Son Bao Thang Pagoda. Along the way, admire the 21.5-meter-tall Amitabha Buddha statue and the sacred beauty of rhododendron forests.
In the afternoon, begin your guided hike to Cat Cat Village, home to the Black H’mong people. Here, you’ll see a French-built hydroelectric station and walk among terraced rice fields and waterfalls. Gain insights into the ethnic community’s traditional crafts, such as weaving and silver carving. You may also choose to rent traditional costumes for photos (at your own expense).
Let’s end your day with a visit to Moana, a unique check-in spot featuring creative man-made structures set against a natural backdrop. Capture memorable photos at iconic miniatures like the Bali Heaven Gate, Moana Girl Statue, Infinity Lake, and more.
Return to your hotel in the evening. All meals are yours.
Meet your guide at the hotel and begin your trekking adventure. The first part of the trail follows a paved road, but soon you’ll veer onto a small footpath that winds down into the scenic Muong Hoa Valley. Your first stop is Y Linh Ho, a peaceful village nestled along the river, followed by a visit to Lao Chai—home to the Black H’mong people.
The Black H’mong are one of the largest ethnic minority groups in the Sapa region. They proudly maintain their rich cultural heritage, wearing traditional indigo-dyed clothing and speaking their language. Although many H’mong families have transitioned from a nomadic lifestyle to a more settled way of living, traces of their earlier traditions remain. You’ll see simple wooden homes and stone-walled compounds scattered across the hillsides.
Continue trekking to Ta Van village, located at 1,200 meters above sea level. This community is home to the Zay people, a smaller ethnic group with a population of around 38,000. While modernization has led to the loss of some traditions, many Zay women still wear colorful shirts in shades of purple, blue, or green. Their homes are typically built from wood and bamboo, with clay floors.
If you’re visiting between May and October, you’ll also witness the planting or harvesting season on the breathtaking terraced rice fields of Muong Hoa Valley, an essential part of daily life for the locals.
After exploring Ta Van, a car will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel in Sapa. Meals today are at yours.
After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the Silver Waterfall, located about 30 minutes from Sapa town. This picturesque spot is one of the region’s most popular natural attractions. Take your time to enjoy the refreshing mountain air, admire the cascading waters, and capture some memorable photos of the surrounding landscape.
Next, let’s head to Sapa Swing, a thrilling and unique outdoor experience perched atop a scenic mountain ridge. Here, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of Sapa’s iconic terraced rice fields, misty valleys, and rugged peaks. While the swing itself offers an exciting sense of flying above the mountains, the entrance fee only covers access to the viewpoint (no additional activities are included).
In the afternoon, at around 14:00, board the bus for your return journey to Hanoi. Feel free to choose your lunch and dinner. You’ll spend the night at your hotel in Hanoi.
You can have breakfast at your hotel and enjoy some free time until your private car arrives for the transfer to Ninh Binh (no guide provided). The drive takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Please note that your room in Hanoi is available until 12:00 PM.
Upon arrival in Ninh Binh, check into your hotel. Your room will be ready from 02:00 PM onwards. Meals are at your arrangement.
Let’s enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Later, you can spend the day exploring Ninh Binh at your own pace, taking in its natural beauty and local charm.
Following breakfast and checking out of your hotel in Ninh Binh, you will embark on a 3 to 3.5-hour drive to Halong Bay. Arrive at the port and board your cruise, where you will receive a warm welcome from the crew with a refreshing drink.
You can have a yummy lunch onboard as it starts cruising through the breathtaking limestone cliffs that Halong Bay is renowned for. During the afternoon, you can take part in enjoyable activities such as exploring a fishing village or a cooking demonstration. Depending on the cruise you take, what you do may vary. Following a fulfilling day, return to the cruise to unwind before savoring a delicious dinner.
Overnight sleep on board, surrounded by the gentle calm of the bay.
You can wake up to the tranquil beauty of Halong Bay and enjoy breakfast on the boat as the sun rises over the limestone islands. The cruise continues through famous islets, with time for kayaking or visiting hidden caves; the activities may vary depending on which cruise you are taking. After check-out, a light brunch will be served before your disembarkation at the main harbor. Then, go to your hotel in Halong City to check in, which is available from 02:00 PM. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing or starting to discover the city on your own. Meals are arranged on your own.
The following day is left for your discovery of Halong City. After breakfast at the hotel, start your day at Cai Bau Pagoda, which offers breathtaking views of Bai Tu Long Bay and peaceful temple grounds. Stop by the dramatic Quang Ninh Museum with its beautiful black-glass structure and eye-opening exhibits on local culture and history. Enjoy lunch on your own before visiting Thông Zeo Bai Chay, a hidden pine-covered retreat that’s perfect for reflection and photography opportunities. Top off your day with golden-hour vistas over Bai Chay Bridge or the seafront promenade. At your hotel, unwind over a relaxed evening.
Let’s enjoy your free time until our car arrives at your hotel to transfer you to Noi Bai Airport for your flight to Da Nang. Please note that your room in Quang Ninh is available until 12:00 PM. Upon arrival at Da Nang Airport, our guide and driver will greet you and take you to your hotel in Hoi An for check-in. Your room will be ready at 02:00 PM. Meals are in your arrangement. Overnight at your hotel in Hoi An.
Start your morning with a vibrant cultural experience as you visit a local market. Here, you’ll learn how to interact with local vendors and recognize essential ingredients used in traditional Vietnamese cooking. Next, enjoy a relaxing paddle boat ride in a traditional Vietnamese bamboo basket boat through a peaceful coconut palm-lined waterway.
Along the journey, let’s try your hand at net fishing and spot the unique “purple crabs” living in the canals. After a welcome drink, join an engaging cooking class where a local chef will guide you through four classic Vietnamese recipes. At the end of the session, you’ll receive printed recipes to recreate the flavors at home. After the class, your guide will transfer you back to the hotel.
In the afternoon, around 02:00 PM, we set off to explore the charm of Hoi An Ancient Town. Visit iconic landmarks such as the Japanese Covered Bridge, wander along Chinese-style streets, and admire the historic Phung Hung House. You’ll also have time to browse the lively market and anc ient port area, where you can pick up souvenirs and sample local street food like Banh Xeo, chicken rice, or Vietnamese pizza (at your own expense).
As the sun sets, you can enjoy a serene boat ride on the Hoai River and release a flower lantern, a meaningful local tradition to wish for good fortune. Stroll through the glowing lantern-lit streets before returning to your hotel for a peaceful night’s rest. This day offers a perfect blend of hands-on activities, cultural discovery, and memorable moments in the heart of Vietnam.
In the morning, you take a ride on the modern cable car system, the longest in Southeast Asia. As you ascend, the stunning views of Da Nang unfurl below you, a lovely beginning to the day.
Your first stop is the iconic Golden Bridge. This breathtaking walkway, held up by enormous stone hands, provides a surreal backdrop for photos. Next, you wander through the enchanting Le Jardin D’Amour gardens and stop to visit the serene Linh Ung Pagoda.
Then the second cable car transports you to the lively French Village. There, you can bask in street performances, be amazed by creative statues, visit temples, and even take a thrilling ride down the Slide of Tube Car.
Have buffet lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon, you board the Lava Train and head to exciting new locations in the hills. On arrival, you enter Fantasy Park, where you can see different themed zones, enjoy thrilling rides, and play interactive games that are fun for everyone.
At about 03:00 PM, you head back to the cable car station to ride down the mountain. Your minivan collects you between 04:45 PM and 05:45 PM and brings you back to your hotel.
Dinner is not provided. You spend the night at the hotel.
Today is your free day to explore the vibrant coastal city of Da Nang at your own pace.
Begin your morning with a peaceful walk along My Khe Beach, one of Vietnam’s most stunning stretches of sand. Take in the sunrise, breathe in the sea air, or go for a refreshing swim if the weather allows. Afterward, consider heading to the Marble Mountains, a cluster of five marble and limestone hills representing the five elements. Here, you can climb to scenic viewpoints, wander through mystical caves, and visit ancient pagodas, including the serene Linh Ung Pagoda with its towering Lady Buddha statue and panoramic views of the coastline.
In the evening, Da Nang comes alive with colorful lights and local charm. Make your way to the iconic Dragon Bridge, which puts on a spectacular show of fire and water on weekend nights.
