As Thailand’s dynamic capital, Bangkok offers a fascinating contrast between tradition and modernity, where ancient temples stand alongside bustling streets and vibrant night markets. This unique atmosphere provides an engaging first impression of the country.
For the remainder of the day, you are free to relax at your hotel or begin exploring the surrounding area at your own pace, depending on your energy level and interests.
Overnight in Bangkok.
After breakfast, you will begin a comprehensive exploration of Bangkok’s cultural and historical highlights.
Begin your visit at the Grand Palace, one of Thailand’s most important royal landmarks, admired for its magnificent architecture, intricate golden details, and deep historical significance dating back to 1782. Within the complex, you will also visit Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), home to the Emerald Buddha, the country’s most sacred religious icon and an important symbol of Thai spirituality and monarchy.
Continue to Wat Pho, the largest and one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Bangkok, renowned for its massive gold-covered Reclining Buddha stretching 46 meters in length. The temple is also widely recognized as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage and remains an important center of Thai culture and wellness.
You will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense), giving you the flexibility to choose according to your preferences.
In the afternoon, your experience shifts from landmarks to local life as you board a long-tail boat along the Chao Phraya River and its quieter canals. While cruising through the Thonburi area, you will observe a more traditional and peaceful side of Bangkok, far removed from the busy urban center.
The journey includes a stop at Wat Arun, an iconic riverside temple admired for its intricate porcelain decoration and elegant structure.
After the tour, you will return to your hotel.
Overnight in Bangkok.
After breakfast, you will depart for Damnoen Saduak, located approximately 110 kilometers west of Bangkok. The scenic drive takes you through rice fields and salt farms, offering a glimpse into Thailand’s countryside.
Your first stop is the unique Maeklong Railway Market, where daily life unfolds directly on active train tracks. As the train approaches at scheduled times (08:30 / 11:00 / 14:30 / 17:30), vendors skillfully move their goods aside, creating a fascinating and memorable experience.
Along the route, you will visit a local farmhouse where traditional coconut sugar is produced, giving you further insight into rural livelihoods.
You will then continue with a 30-minute long-tail boat ride through fruit plantations, passing traditional Thai houses and observing life along the canals. This journey leads you to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where colorful boats filled with goods create a lively and authentic trading scene. You may also choose to hire a small paddle boat for a closer and more immersive experience.
After returning to Bangkok, you will proceed directly to the airport for your onward flight to Phuket (flight not included).
Upon arrival, our team will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for relaxation.
Overnight in Phuket.
Today, you will enjoy a full-day excursion to some of the most beautiful islands in southern Thailand.
After breakfast, your private driver will meet you and transfer you to the pier, where you will board a speedboat to the beautiful Phi Phi Islands, one of the world’s most renowned tropical paradises, celebrated for its dramatic limestone formations, turquoise waters, pristine sandy beaches, and vibrant marine life.
At Pileh Lagoon, you can swim in emerald-green waters surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs, creating a truly picturesque setting. Later, you will enjoy lunch at a beachside restaurant on Phi Phi Don Island (Ton Sai Bay), followed by free time to relax.
Your afternoon continues with a visit to Monkey Beach and a sightseeing stop at Viking Cave, where you can take photos and enjoy optional swimming or snorkeling. The boat will also make a stop near Monkey Beach, allowing you to snorkel offshore in crystal-clear waters while catching glimpses of the island’s playful wildlife from the boat.
The journey then takes you to Khai Nai Island, where you can relax on soft white sand or swim in clear, shallow waters.
In the late afternoon, return to Phuket and transfer back to your hotel.
Overnight in Phuket.
This day is entirely yours to enjoy Phuket at your own pace.
You may choose to relax on the beach, swim in the warm Andaman Sea, or explore additional nearby islands. For those interested in wellness or light activities, spa treatments and water sports are also available.
Phuket’s lively yet relaxed atmosphere, combined with its beautiful coastline, makes it an ideal destination for both relaxation and optional exploration.
Overnight in Phuket.
