In the afternoon, enjoy a leisurely 1-hour cyclo tour around the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake, an authentic way to experience the lively city center amid the constant movement, sounds, and energy of local life.

Next, visit the famous Train Street, an iconic spot where trains pass through a narrow residential lane. As train times vary, your guide will advise the best timing on the spot. Enjoy a cup of coffee here (at your own expense) before your guide introduces you to one of Hanoi’s most beloved drinks, egg coffee.

At 8:00 AM, depart Hanoi for a full-day excursion to Ninh Binh (about 100 km / 2-hour drive). Begin at the ancient citadel of Hoa Lu, an early capital of Vietnam set among some of the country’s most beautiful limestone formations.

After enjoying lunch featuring local Ninh Binh specialties, continue with a relaxing sampan boat ride through the poetic landscapes of the Trang An ecological area. Drift past breathtaking mountain scenery and explore the mystical caves along the way, taking in the fresh air and tranquil surroundings.

After the boat trip, return to Hanoi. Dinner is on your own this evening. Overnight in Hanoi.

Today, set off on a scenic journey to Halong Bay, the jewel of North Vietnam, famous for its thousands of dramatic limestone islands. The drive takes you through the peaceful countryside and rice fields of the Red River Delta.

Around noon, arrive at the pier and board your luxury overnight cruise, where the crew welcomes you with a drink and a briefing. After settling into your cabin, enjoy lunch as the ship heads out among jungle-clad mountains and mysterious caves.

In the afternoon, you have plenty of time to take in panoramic views from the top deck or kayak around the limestone karsts before the ship anchors in a quiet area. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cocktail on the sundeck while admiring the scenery, followed by dinner featuring delicious Vietnamese dishes. Afterward, join in onboard activities such as games, squid fishing, or watching movies. Overnight on the cruise.

Begin your morning with a relaxing Tai Chi session onboard amid the tranquil surroundings of the bay.
