On arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, you are welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, set out on a city tour of the former capital of French Indochina, once known as Saigon, a vibrant destination known for its fascinating culture, classic French architecture, and lively mix of temples and modern skyscrapers.

Visit landmarks including the Old Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Opera House. Continue to the Reunification Palace, a site of great historical significance where the Vietnam War came to an end in 1975. Round off your day with a visit to the Jade Pagoda and Ben Thanh Market.

The day begins with a visit to Cai Be, where you can walk around the orchard and enjoy some fruit while listening to traditional music in a local garden. A rowing boat then takes you deeper into the countryside along smaller canals for a peaceful experience, before crossing the Mekong River to An Binh Island.

Travel along a handmade canal to Ut Trinh Home and enjoy lunch. Afterward, walk through the local village to visit workshops where you can see how rice paper, coconut candy, and pop-rice are made, sampling sweets with a cup of hot tea. Optional biking is available along village paths, passing orchards, schools, a church, a pagoda, and traditional houses. Visit the brick kilns to see local pottery-making, before the cruise ends at Vinh Long city.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Remaining meals are on your own. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

In the morning, depart on an approximately five-hour drive by private vehicle to the coastal town of Phan Thiet, about 200 km north of Ho Chi Minh City. Together with Mui Ne, these traditional fishing villages have become a popular leisure destination, where resort developments line a quiet, serene coastline ideal for walks, jogging, and spectacular sunsets. Phan Thiet is also famous for its fish sauce, a key ingredient in many Vietnamese dishes.

Arrive before lunchtime, with the rest of the day free to enjoy the 10 km-long beach set among a beautiful palm grove. Remaining meals are on your own. Overnight in Mui Ne.

Spend today at your leisure in Mui Ne and Phan Thiet. The golden shores are ideal for all ages: swim in the gentle waves, explore the sand dunes, try water sports, or simply stroll along the beach. You may also visit the traditional fishing harbor with its colorful boats or explore the local outdoor markets and chat with the friendly locals.

A jeep picks you up at your resort for a half-day tour visiting the Fairy Stream, a natural beauty spot with a red canyon and clear brook, and the fishing village overlooking Mui Ne Bay with its boats and sunsets. Continue to the White Sand Dunes, home to a lotus-filled lake, and the Yellow Sand Dunes for sweeping views over Mui Ne, ending with a romantic sunset over the dunes.
